The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SUNY Buffalo State provides management and technical assistance to start-up and existing small businesses throughout Erie County and the Niagara Frontier.
NYSERDA Funding Opportunities
NYSERDA’s various programs (such as residential, commercial, transportation, environmental) outline broad energy and environmental challenges, and then publicly request proposals, from any private or institutional entity, to submit project plans addressing those issues.

City of Buffalo Green Code
The Green Code hopes to create “place-types” that reflect the community use of space, as well as embraces mixed use development wherein residential, retail, office, recreational and institutional spaces coexist, creating diverse urban centers.
Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (Draft)
Aims to protect and improve major city ports, marinas, and public waterfront access points, as well as plan for transportation based projects, such as the Scajaquada Expressway boulevard project.
